In 2010 and 2011 Danielle served as the SHRM Long Island Annual Conference Co-Chair and Certification Committee Co-Chair.  She pioneered the SHRM Long Island Study Group in 2010 as her first initiative, motivated by advice from her Certification Co-Chair predecessor, Joan, whose parting words were, “Create an initiative, make it your own.”

2014 marked the fifth consecutive year that she lead the study group.  She has also developed two successors who went on to instruct at local universities, as well as five other instructors who will share the continued responsibility of instructing the study group and helping SHRM Long Island Chapter members continue their career journey through education, development and giving back.
In 2012, Danielle took the initiative to begin another committee to offer continued development for SHRM Long Island members in all levels of their career path. The goal of the Professional Development committee is to offer more robust and comprehensive topics that appeal to our senior HR executives.

Throughout her time as a Chapter leader, Danielle has strived to create a diverse learning platform that appeals to not only entry and mid-level HR professionals but also the C Suite executives.
Through her continued dedication to the Chapter, Danielle has played an integral part in helping SHRM Long Island Chapter members continue their career journey through education, development and giving back.
